Tommy co-founded and leads Greenhope to help solve the world’s unsustainable consumption and production problems, bringing clear social and environmental impact.

Tommy is passionate about leading the team to solve the world’s problems and bringing clear social and environmental impact.  His past experience includes owner/managing partner of handwoven furniture and fashion brands, an executive of Indonesia’s top conglomerate group, a management consultant with The Boston Consulting Group. 

After spending 10 years in the US and Europe, Tommy chose to go back home to pursue his idealism of building Indonesia, foregoing his permanent residence status abroad.  Tommy actively builds communities of entrepreneurs and business leaders who are committed to doing business with integrity. 

Tommy received MBA with Honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and spent some time learning development economics at the London School of Economics.  Together with Sugianto, he was also selected and graduated from Harvard University & Schwab Foundation World Economic Forum scholarship program on “Delivering Social Impact at Scale”.  Recently Tommy was selected as Top 100 Visionary Leaders by Real-Leaders magazine (https://real-leaders.com/spring-2018/). Along with Greenhope as an “Unreasonable Company”, Tommy was selected as one of the Unreasonable Fellows to participate in the Unreasonable Goals program (unreasonable-goals.com).

Recently he’s featured in Hongkong Tatler as the Most Influential Individuals Who are Defining the Future of Asia: The Impact List 2020.

Tommy greatly values spending time with his wife and two homeschooled daughters.
